Welcome to Historic Shady Lane

Tucked away on 34 acres in York County, Pennsylvania, Historic Shady Lane provides the perfect outdoor wedding experience. You and your guests will be treated with historic stone backdrops, forests and gardens, and a gorgeous glass greenhouse. We have buildings from 3 different centuries on the estate, and each have a story to tell. With lush,  naturally-landscaped grounds, your ceremony will have a beautiful backdrop without having to purchase any extras! Let nature paint its own canvas and let us help you to make your day your own.

Wedding Day

Start your day in our bridal suites then head outside for bridal portraits anywhere you please on our 34 acres of luscious grounds. Walk down the aisle to your forever at your choice of ceremony location then onto cocktail hour with family and friends in the greenhouse. Finish out your celebration in the reception tent with dinner and dancing, or relaxing in the gazebo or by the fire pit.
